About TastingColours
'What next?' was the question that led to Tasting Colours
In 2016, shortly after we met, we realised that the need to be curious, explore new ideas, share learnings, play with things and be constantly learning through new experiences is in us both.

That meant starting to with understanding what we meant by 'thriving' -
Dynamic not static
-
Source of motivation:
Internal rewards come from within the individual, while external rewards are provided by others.
-
Examples:
Internal rewards include feelings of pride, personal growth, and a sense of accomplishment, whereas external rewards include salary increases, promotions, public recognition, or awards.
-
Impact on long-term motivation:
Research suggests that relying too heavily on external rewards can diminish intrinsic motivation, while fostering a strong internal reward system can lead to more sustained motivation and job satisfaction.
Readiness to change.
Changing behaviours for ourselves or others has negative connotations - it can feel imposed on us by external pressures and it's often is required as a result of something negative.
We want people to thrive by being able to access more to their lives, simply because we want to, not by having to change our behaviours because things got too bad or because of pressure of others.

Moving our reward system
